Aims & Scope

The journal Psychology in Education (alternative title Psikhologiya cheloveka v obrazovanii) publishes the results of original fundamental and applied research in psychology that focuses on an individual in an educational environment, regardless of their age, programme level or format of education. Lately, education has become an integral part of everyone’s life, including people of all ages and professions. Indeed, life-long learning is now one of the key trends in social development. It involves a high degree of individual agency and readiness to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills in one’s areas of interest, which requires an individual educational system beyond the educational institutions.

Our journal has a strong focus on the psychological well-being of individuals in the educational environment, as well as the resources that allow them to attain their full potential in the current social and cultural space. Additionally, we publish descriptions of tried and tested tools and practices that can be used to protect and improve the psychological well-being of individuals in the educational environment.

Psychology of Education favours evidence-based research and pays particular attention to the theoretical and methodological tools that support experimental results. References to the materials used or created by the author/authors are highly appreciated as a basis to conduct secondary research.
